I offer complete midwifery care and homebirth services based on the traditions practiced by our foremothers. The foundation of my care rests in the faith I have in a woman’s body to fulfill the natural processes of pregnancy and birth when given the proper support. I believe a woman birthing in her own home, surrounded by the people she trusts and loves, offers the healthiest and most supportive environment for a woman to labor and baby to be born. The natural processes of labor and birth are best left alone to unfold at their own pace, with intervention used minimally and only when necessary, to offer the best outcome for mom and baby well-being and bonding . I believe all pregnant women should be well informed, know their options, and receive skilled and compassionate care during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.
I am first a guardian that seeks to protect a woman’s integrity and power during the natural process of birth. I understand that a woman’s birth story is sacred and powerful and I am honored to walk with woman on her journey.
